Series on military equipment

Could someone point out to me a good series about modern technologies used in the battlefield. Just interested in the technology that is currently being used.

Any help is appreciated

I'm not really sure about any series, but I've learned some stuff from watching History and Discovery channels when there are the occasional military technologies type episodes.

OP, just go to wikipedia. Most of the shit used today is actually pretty old. Like Cold War old.

Maybe check out World Guns.ru for some basic info on small arms?

All of these are good, theres also this show called weaponology, it might be worthwhile to check out for some information.

I don't think he's done any new ones recently, but Marine Mike [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/profiles/view/Marine+Mike] did a series called "Games and Ammo" on this site that was pretty good (IMO)
