Sexuality / Being uptight

A little backstory first. My class took a week long trip to Lake Constance. Our beds were barely big enough for 1 person, but a bunch of girls would sleep in our room (No sex) so most of us had to share their bed. No problem.

But one night, after hanging out with some other girls, I went back to my room at around 4 am. I went straight to bed, dressed and everything. I woke up around 2 hours later to get up, and noticed that I had spent the night with another guy sleeping in my bed, since 2 girls were sleeping in his bed. None of us really cared. A week later I told a friend from America the story and all she said was: "That's kind of creepy".

That commment made me think of a bunch of questions I would like to ask the Escapist:
1.1) Would you share your bed with a person of the same sex?
1.2) If no, what bothers you about it?
2) Can you openly talk about sex or sexuality?
3) How do you act aroundd up-tight people?

1. 1) Yup, no problem. Edit: Well, at least no problem regarding the gender. I'd have a problem sharing my bed with anybody (I do have a bit of OCD), but not because of the gender. Just sayin'.
1. 2) -
2) Yes. I don't see the problem with it...it's natural and fun. You can talk about eating, can't you?
3) Although I don't agree with them, I respect their opinion. Unless they give stupid arguments, as most of them do.

1. Yes, please. I mean, uh...sure. I guess.
2.
3. To some people, not everyone.
4. I adjust to their comfort level.

1.) Yes, as long as nothing sexual goes on. I'm not the biggest fan of sharing my bed with anyone though, except my girlfriend.
2.) N/A
3.) Urm, I guess. Yeah, why not.
4.) I'm terrible around them, but I try to keep my cool. Blow your lid and they win.

I don't really see what's creepy about it. If you were both naked or something maybe...
We weren't completely naked... >.> (maybe)

1. Yes, I don't see a problem with that. Even if I were lesbian, which I'm not, it still wouldn't be a problem. I'm not about to have sex with anybody who happens to be in the same bed as me.
2. Non applicable.
3. Yes, unless there's someone in the discussion I know would be embarrassed.
4. Pretty much same answer as 3

I'd ask your age. As generally maturity levels has a lot to do with this. A mature adult probably could care less honestly about this situation, and not think it odd at all. A kid would also not really care. However, teenagers are an odd type. They typically make a big fuss over such things.

Personally I've shared my bed with female friends and not slept with them. I've also shared my bed with other female friends and slept with them.

So answers.

1.1)Yes, and have. Likely will again. Its not easy to find a bed if you're crashing after a party.

2. Yes, except with family. But I think thats kinda normal for some people. Don't really want to blab on about sex with my mother.

3. Eh. I generally respect their wishes, and if they try and judge my choices and my actions, I then rub it in their face till I get a reaction. If your going to be a dickhead, I will be a dickhead to.
I'm 15, guess German teenagers are more easy going about things like that.

1.) Yes I would and have done so in the past.
2.) N/A
3.) I'm a mature adult, I can discuss that topic with no trouble, if the other guy is gay as long as he understands I'm not interested and never will be then we're cool.
4.) I've gotten used to being surrounded by people who seem to have their minds stuck somewhere around the Dark Ages on the scale of enlightenment. I'll either attempt to educate them a little or just smile and act dumb. Getting worked up because they're up-tight just isn't worth it.

1) I wouldn't mind sharing a bed with a chap nowadays. I didn't back on a school Paris trip, but I was around 13, I think I was allowed to find it a bit weird back then.

2) To friends, I can make jokes about both of those and probably do a bit too much to be considered appropriate. Never talked about it seriously though. All my friends are nerd, there's nothing to talk about.
Wouldn't talk about it at all around parents, just seems a bit wrong. My sister has the same deal as my friends.

3) Don't think I've ever met someone up-tight about it. I know both lads and lassies that would have a problem, but I've never been in a bed situation with 'em.
[sub]Derp.[/sub]

I think that covers all your questions. My work here is done.

I was assuming it was a decent sized bed. I'd have trouble sharing a smaller bed with someone. Well, specifically, I'd have trouble falling asleep. I certainly wouldn't have trouble sharing it though.

4) I tend not to hang around allot

really the problem is that here in the states we tend to view anything that 2 guys do that doesnt involve killing fluffy things as gay, because we are effin stupid

1. Yeah, the same rules apply for both sexes. Sleep in my bed if you want, but don't hog the covers, try to have sex with me without my permission, or ruin the bed in some way.
1.2
2. Yeah, sex is just sex. Unless someone gets seriously uncomfortable with it I don't care.
3. Tell them to chill out but don't act like a dick to them?

1.1) Yes, but i'm bisexual, so it's part of my nature.
2) Yup, why not? It's not like i have anything to be ashamed of.
3) I'd pull my shirt up and flash my bosom at them just to annoy them. Or laugh at them. Or just ignore them. Generally trying to avoid them as much as i can, because life is to short to get bothered by such people.

Also, damn i miss those school trips. Tho they never allowed us to be in same room with guys past 8pm. Made it even more fun as we sneaked around, or even constructed mischievous plans like leaving a few bottles of vodka in front of the teacher's room so they'd get drunk and leave us alone.

1) I'm a gay dude. What do you think? I'd share it with a girl as well.
2) Yes, and no. I'm not a massive fan about talking about my own sexuality, but I don't mind discussing sexuality in general, or someone else's.
3) Sexually uptight people are fine. I don't talk about sex very often, so I doubt it would be a big deal. If their uptightness includes some uncomfortableness around gay people though...

TS said the beds were barely big enough for 1 person. I'd say "dibs" as fast as I could and take the bed :)
Falling out in mid-sleep sucks.

If the bed was big enough I wouldn't mind
