Just thinking about this today as I was sitting in class, I was just daydreaming, drawing in my book, when I mucked up a little, I was drawing in pen(silly me) and I couldn't get my hands on any white out, and that's when it struck me...

Wouldn't it be cool if there were short cuts for real life?

I desperately need 'ctrl+Z', I stuff up a lot!
So what do you think? What short cut do you need........?

ctrl+C, it'd make taking pages of notes a breeze. of course it'd be useless without ctrl+V.

I was walking in town today with some friends, and I saw someone who looked like an old primary school friend from a distance, but I wasn't sure, so I walked up to them and she gave me weird looks so I walked away quickly.

Ctrl + to Zoom in would have let me avoid that situation entirely

Sometimes I'd like to be able to scroll up in conversations to see things they said when I just plain wasn't listening hehehe...

Crtl + B to bookmark regularly visited sites (in real life) and to allow rapid travel between them.

Ctrl + H to bring up history, vital for settling arguments and recalling last night.

F5 Bad connection with reality today, 'F5' to reload brain.

I was also thinking about the whole taking notes thing, 'prt scr'(print screen) would make that a lot easier, takes away the whole effort thing, having to highlight it, then press two, count them two, buttons together, pfft.

But again, without 'ctrl+V'......

I would like the option to add subs to regular conversations as well as a adnotate all tool, it would make for a hell of a lot fun scribbling on people.

Brilliant. As my memory is pretty shot i'd like this.
I'd also like Apple'Z' or (ctrl Z). It'd be like Prince of Persia.

"No, no, no, that's not how it happened"

Two whole buttons? At the same time?
Surely this is madness

Caps Lock would make shouting at people easier on my voice
Or Crtl+I to make my voice sound all fancy like
I wonder what speaking in italics sounds like...

Ctrl+ N This shortcut would automatic make me yell the word "no" so loud glass within 3.5 kilometres would shatter.
That sounds like THE greatest short cut ever

"Hey, can you go make me a sandwich??" - "Ctrl+N!"

I have missed Ctrl+F when reading long documents, But i think the dev console or quicksave would be more interesting

Well... Too bad that if the shout is so loud that it's hearable within 3.5 kilometres, people within the range of.... 20? meters would have their spines and spinal cords disjointed.

Oh, and they would bleed from their ears and go deaf. Probably could pass out.

And your head would explode.

I'd say - F5 and F9. Quick save a day before an exam, see the questions on the test, quick load and study only for those questions.

F5/F9 definitely. The possibilities are endless.

Ctrl-T so I can have another tab and go to multiple places at the same time.
Alt-F4 so I can just get rid of anyone bothering me (temporarily, like closing a pop-up window).

Hotkeying units so I can ctrl-1 my knowledge of calculus and select and see it during the exam with '1, 1'

*Many other things listed already.*
