I think quite a lot of people miss the whole point of the song. Its making fun of that mindset.

I don't think a country needs a national anthem at all. Its just another old fashioned tradition that no longer serves any purpose other than to waste people's time in schools and sporting events. That and give an outlet to people who think its somehow an accomplishment to be born in a specific country.
