Should I Buy a PS3?

So here's the situation,
I just moved from British Columbia to Montreal (2717 KMs or 1688 miles) and brought very little with me. Some clothes, a laptop knick-knacks, what have you.
Now I have an Xbox but I decided to leave it in BC till I could find a solid place to live here in Montreal but now i'm jonesing hard for some gaming time. I will be back in BC for Christmas but till then i'm console-less. I've also been thinking about getting a PS3 for a while because i'm a big fan of some of the exclusive titles (infamous, God of War, little big planet), and I like the fact that it has a blu-ray player. So my question is, should i hold off buying little things (coffee, bus pass, the occasional lunch out) for a few months for a big thing or should i just stick to my guns and wait it out?

If you want a ps3 then save up and buy it. Why do you need to ask us? Its nothing at all to do with us, only you know if you want one enough to save for it. If we all said "No, PS3 is crap" but you still wanted one, then you would still buy it regardless of what we told you.
