Should I Pre-Order MW3 or SR3

From my leftover birthday money, I'm trying to decide between MW3 or SR3 (Saints Row 3).
I'm looking forward to both, and I think I'll love them equally great, but I'm just trying to find out which one to pre-order.
And yes, I've already pre-ordered Skyrim, so thats out of the picture.

Those two games are so wildly different all it's going to come down to is what you want to play.

MW3 will likely be more of the same thing it's been offering the past three or four years, but with more polish and a few random goodies added.

Saints Row 3 is going to be more of the over-the-top sandbox action it's offered, but seemingly cracked waaaay up based on gameplay videos and such.

Try to think of some factors for reasons to buy one or the other. I know if I had to choose I'd up with MW3 because I'd hear no end of it from friends who wanted me to get the game if I didn't.

I would say if you really want external advice with the little information get SR3 and wait and see what happens with MW3. Overall MW3 will be th first to actually try and make real changes since CoD 4 but I would wait and see because they will probably have horrible weapon balance when it first comes out among other things.

This is going to turn into a massive flame war, just thought I'd let you know.
The Escapist is literally one of the worst places on the internet to ask whether you should get a Call of Duty game or another game, because you will get people who just hate on CoD.

I'd say Call of Duty, because I felt that Saints Row 2 was massively over-hyped as it was, and Saints Row 3 has even more hype already.

It depends whether you like sandbox games or FPSs.

As with any game that comes out in this day and age: Neither.

The Saints Row games seem to have this bizarre trait of devaluing really quickly, so you can just wait a bit and get it at a third of the price now. As for Modern Warfare 3, you can just play 2 and Black Ops and have the same experience.

I say Saints Row 3, mostly because i have no interest in Modern Warfare 3....its just a cookie cutter of the other MW games anyway so just pick that up later. By something more fun and original (compared to MW3) and get MW at a later date.

Although this does depend on whether you prefer online to single player gaming.
