I have heard that this game has had negative reviews upon launch and that the game has improved drastically since then. Although, I do not know how drastically it has improved and I kind of lost track of all of the updates and features. I know about the Foundry and the New Romulan area as well as the Romulan Faction comming out. But I would like to know should I come back to playing it? I started playing when it first went FTP but after a few months I didn't go back.

Its Free to play so your not out anything to try it. I think its under rated and better then most FTP's. The Romulan faction comes out in May.
I highly recommend it. It is a lot of fun because it can be played entirely like a single player and PvE is a lot of fun. And it's actually a surprisingly immersive game. You have your ship and your crew and you can customize them. The game does an amazing job of making you feel like a captain of a Star Fleet ship. And space battles are awesome because they managed to incorporate everything from the series into the actual battles. It is the most authentic and complete Star Trek experience in video game world. I love it.
