My dad's friend wants to buy my SNES with 2 controllers and 24 games for $100. I bought all of that at a garage sale for $40 but they don't know that.
Games:
X-Men:Mutant Apocalypse
TMNT 4: Turtles in Time
Final Fight
Mega Man X
Super Double Dragon
Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past
Super Mario World
Final Fight 2
Saturday Night Slam Masters
Wheel of Fortune Deluxe Edition
Super Street Fighter 2
Super Mario All-Stars (Super Mario Bros. 1-3)
Samurai Showdown
Pit Fighter
Super Punch-Out!!!
Sunset Riders
Art of Fighting
Killer Instinct
Battletoads: in Battlemaniacs
Street Fighter 2 Turbo
Mortal Kombat
Illusion of Gaia
Contra 3
Castlevania 4

Edit: I should mention that none of the games have their boxes.

Is all that and 2 controllers worth $100? Should I ask for more? How much?

Edit: I told them no already, I'll hang on to them, play them some more, build up my collection and eventually sell each game separately on Ebay or something.

No, no, no! There are some collectible games in that stash, totaling beyond a mere $100. If you have to sell them go to eBay, otherwise hook that SNES back up and play those games!

look through each of the games on Ebay to give a general idea of their value. you never know when you may have a closet gold mine.

Are you crazy?! Seriously, don't do it. It's a bad idea. Those are all classics! You'll regret it!

Nostalgia is over-rated. Sell them, but check e-Bay first. 100 bucks is likely a rip-off. Which means 40 was a steal.

selling many of those games off one by one will get you much more money that selling them all together with the system. You could sell Megaman X, Zelda:LTTP, Castlevania 4, Contra 3, illusion of Gaia, and super punch out for $100 (total, no a piece) pretty easily. If you need money or don't want it anymore, sell it in pieces. But really I would just keep it. SNES is one of the best consoles ever and will remain fun for a long time.

Don't do it. You will regret it later, I have foreseen this. Really you don't want to because you will find yourself craving to play those games sometime in the future. Don't make a mistake like that.

Your collection is worth a lot more than $100,I'd keep it a few more years for the price to go up or if you don't want it eBay that bit.
