I barely use it and I got 16 games with it. I'm planning on buying a computer, and if I should how much should I sell it for? I live in England btw

Why not go on eBay or something to see what other people are selling 360s for? Maybe even sell all the stuff separately and make more money as well.

If you don't play it and don't think you'll play it in the future, go for it. Be careful though, some places/people will pay you so much less than its worth, and down the line you might regret it if you suddenly feel like playing it.

I'm always very careful about selling things I don't usually play. I can't count the times I have had to buy back games which I missed, because I hastily sold them.

Keep the Xbox 360, and save up. I wanted to buy a gaming computer last year, but I wasn't prepared to sell my Xbox 360 or PS3 to get the money I needed. I am glad I chose to save up instead, and just 2 days ago, almost a year later, I got my new gaming laptop, and I am very happy with it so far. Also, PC gamers please don't hate on me for getting a laptop instead of a Desktop, I like to move around a lot, alright.

Believe me it is worth saving up.

Aye, I recently found a great laptop for my sister that was under $1000 to buy for herself. It came with a 2nd Gen Intel i7, 6GB DDR3 and an nVidia GT 540M 1GB. It's very awesome and the only complaint I have is that it eats power like a ************ when not hooked up to a power supply, especially when gaming.

OP: Why the hell did you buy a 250GB 360 (only sold within the last two years) if you weren't going to play it that much? I recommend you keep it for the great upcoming games (Gears 3, Mass Effect 3, Bioshock: Infinite) and just get a new console when the next gen comes out. Honestly, you really should've though a lot harder before buying a console for over $400.

well if you dead set on selling it, try ebay or amazon, but if you want to shift it asap, try cash converters and the like, your looking at 130-160 for the console at best, and depending on the games 50-100

a friend of mine needed money fast to get to australia (his folks live out there and his dad was taken ill) so he tried cash convertors who offered him £90 for the machine. In the end I loaned him £100 and he'll pay me back next pay day (he better!)

edit: £100 to £120 on ebay at the mo

yeah they aint the most generous, but they will take pretty much anything, if people are selling electronics they should go to cex first, they usually pay more

PC games and 360 games aren't mutually exclusive, hardware, software and all. Just that with a PC you're not restricted to a 2006 GPU chip that would be considered modern only in rural Kenya. Oh and you aren't restricted with modding. Oh and ini files. Oh and external utilities. Oh and everything else.

The only three reasons I can think of why anyone would choose an xbox over a PC is poverty, technical ineptitude or susceptibility to marketing.

I have all three major systems (PC, PS3, and Xbox) and I gotta say it was well worth the wait to purchase all three of them. The Xbox is great to play with my friends either as couch co-op or online (since everyone and their mum has a Xbox)(plus shooters just feel right on there). The PS3 is great...for...those PS3 exclusives and lack of NAT settings. The PC is pretty swell to in terms of games it has, but honestly I don't play with my friends on there. I normally just play games like Terria, or RTSs. I'll play some games that are shooters or that are gonna have an epic amount of mods (see every Elder Scrolls game ever).

Oh and I still have my old PS2. and yeah. I am still playing it. I had it fired up last night. I would probably still play my n64 or psone if I hadn't have sold them. Point is, don't sell your consoles because you never know when you might want to use them. Sell the games by all means if you want to. In the grand scheme of things, they are much more cheap then a console or PC rig.

And yeah, I know PCs can render any game on any console obsolete with emulators and whatnot but I always like to support game companies. Even the Draconian ones like Activision because sometimes they put out an amazing game like Singularity.

You mean like Alpha Protocol, not FPS games like Quake / ARMA, right?

Yep. That's about right. The only game that started on the PC that is now that consoles that I feel comfortable playing on a console is the Battlefield series.

Typically if I start a game on a PC, I will finish it on the PC, ect. The only reason I play Battlefield on the Xbox is because all my friends play it on the Xbox and I would much rather squad up with them then random strangers. I know the graphics won't be as good in Battlefield 3 and I am missing out on those epic 64 player battles but that's the price for friendship I guess...

Since investing in a quite expensive gaming PC, I rarely play my xbox alone. However, if you expect to have friends over for games, there's nothing better than consoles for local multiplayer gaming. I'm keeping mine for that very reason.
