The only reason I justify putting on lotion is because on the tube of my lotion is says "FOR MEN" in big capital letters. BUT the downside is...it is scented. Is this a problem? I want answers from both sides of the spectrum here, men and women. I'm honestly curios to see what you guys say.

Smelling good isn't a bad thing. Most of the time, nobody can even tell you smell that way, and if they can, then they stand far too close to you.

Mabey we could use it as a way to now if you to close to a guy like an early warning system so you don;t come of as gay or a creeper.

Yes...but in my eyes, today's youth find the "good" smell to be something I consider to be disgusting(AKA all the perfume and axe). Why be scented when you could just not smell?

Nothing wrong with taking care of your skin but I guess it depends what the lotion smells like aswell. Wear aftershave to mask the lotion smell if you dont like it?

As long as it's a masculine smell, I suppose it's ok. I'm guessing that it is, since it says FOR MEN!!!

I only use lotion after shaving, and it's not scented. I use cologne, though.

People shouldn't wear scented anything, period.
Too many other people have violent allergic reactions to the chemicals and oils used to make the scents (and people don't know how to be subtle with it, they plaster it on.)

"Scented" you say? Well, what scent are we talking about here? Aftershave-y? Perfume-y? Lemony fresh?

I am mostly against lotion, unless you have some kind of actual skin condition. If you must use lotion, unscented is best.

Though being scented is a artificial preference of socialization... it's there and I find the raw smell of people unbearable due to this. No undeodorized tourists for me, thank you.

There's a difference between unscented deodorants and the heavy scents of lotions, sprays and perfumes.

Is there though? Isn't it just a semantic and an arbitrary delivery system away from being the same thing? My deoderant is scented and it can be applied as liberally as I like. I like it when women smell good, not when they smell like flesh & cigarettes.

My soap smells like garlic so any other scent would be a boon to my hygiene for me. As long as it is a nice and "manly" scent (w/e that is) it shouldn't be an issue. For example: don't smell like any fruit or flower.

Don't lather it on, a dab will do you.

Women will probably like it, guys on the other hand will rip you a new one.

This thread is awesome.

Wear whatever the fuck you want man. If you get the ladies because of it then it can't be bad.
