Should Nickelodeon bring back Nick Arcade?

This was a game show in the early 90s. Kinda like double dare, kids would answer trivia questions and instead of physical challenges they'd have to play some video game, say Sonic The Hedgehog and get X amount of rings in 60 seconds.

I was just thinking, now with MLG being a thing, and the technology advancements in VR with the Vive and Oculous, couldn't this show make a huge comeback in a big bad way?

As much fun as that's sound, I don't think it'll be high on the ratings scale. Unless they make it online only, they might make some profit. Sadly, arcades are dead unless you know what places has more than just arcade versions of cell phone games, or rail-shooters. If this was still the mid to late 90s, they might of had a chance. By the 2000s arcades were shrinking thanks consoles like PS2, XBOX, and Gamecube were just as powerful as cabinets, or more powerful.

I...freaking....LOVED Nick Arcade.

As a wee lad, I loved watching it and I would get SUPER pissed watching just how freaking bad some of those people were at video games. I now realize as an adult that the VR was probably basically impossible as it looks like the kids have to look at a monitor to "see" the game and therefore they are watching themselves move while trying to move but still...

I don't know if I'd watch it now because I would feel weird as a 30 year old man watching a bunch of children play video games (just typing that might have landed me on a FBI Watch List) but I would be all for that (or something similar) being back on the tele.

I was with you until the last one. I would not wish that on my worst enemy. I was told that the army is using Sonic boom to interrogate POW.
