Should they remake "Earthbound/MOTHER" for the Nintendo?

Nintendo can't and won't. Earthbound had far too much legally questionable content in it that would be more trouble than its worth, and while Mother 3 doesn't have as much, there's still enough of it to keep it locked in limbo. Don't expect that to change anytime soon, because Itoi won't accept any of Nintendo of America's proposed changes.

OT: I'd highly appreciate a remake of Mother, but 2 and 3 are perfectly fine in my opinion.

Remaking Mother 2 wouldn't be nearly as bad as Mother 3. For Mother 3 HAL would have to remove the copyrighted music, add new music, and then for the battle themes, recode the beat for the battle system. That is a metric shit ton of grief to go through.

It hurt me too when I realized that.
