In this thread I would like people to take the opportunity to just openly and honestly declare something that is amazing in their life, that they just want everyone to know. Something they can't contain. Maybe it's how much you love your pet. Maybe it's that you just got into the Masters League in SC2. Whatever it is, just shout it, share it, live it, love it, with our fellow escapists!

NOTE: This thread is in the spirit of positivity and sharing without being ridiculed. Rather, people should be encouraged and applauded for sharing. So, make sure you support the person who posted above you with a "Way to go man!!" or something, and then share your triumph.


Mine:

I want all the world to know that I am in love! Even though she is with another guy, and the whole situation is complicated, this is the first time I have felt anything real for someone in quite some time. I went through some really tough changes in my life over the past few years, and I never thought I'd be able to heal my body, mind, and soul again, but she makes me feel like I can. I feel like I'm the man I want to be when around her. It may sound young and foolish, but all I can tell you is it's deeper than that, and I'm glad I'm finally able to begin healing after all these years. I love her, and I just needed to share it. So thank you Escapist.

When the Fundies stop trying to force everyone else to live their lifestyle, most of the complaining about religion will go away. The problem isn't the religion itself, it's the fact that people feel that their religion gives them the power to treat other people as less than human.
