Hey Everybody.
Lately i feel the need to play a little roleplaying game... However, really want to find a decent one with a side view battle mode.
I don't mind whether they're turn based, or active battle mode.. i'd prefer it if they stop at my turn so i can have time to decide my move but that's not essential.

This is the kind of style that i'm looking for. The looks and whatever.

If anyone can come up with suggestions or possibly provide links to pages about games like this, your help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Well I know of a free to play one here:
http://armorgames.com/play/505/sonny
and its sequel
http://armorgames.com/play/2900/sonny-2
It's about Zombies... with super powers. It's a lot of fun.

Ahh, yeah, i've played the sonny ones before. They're pretty cool =D .. i'm just looking for something with a bit of retro to it..

Maybe you're looking for the old Final Fantasy games? Final fantasy 6 I just played through, and it's quite enjoyable I suppose.

Yeah, possibly, there's one in particular that i wanted to look up but i never managed to find out which version it was.. and what with the weird number changes going on, i was never sure... i may look up FF6 though... never really had much experience with them before 10 .. Was always more of a simple games guy. Mario and FPS's galore..

Try Paper Mario or something! Those are some sweet RPGs. Super Mario RPG is good too, but it's not really a side view.

I've got saves for Mario RPG and the N64 on my laptop on emulators, and i don't feel like starting the games over so i'll wait till it's sorted and then play those...
I'm still looking for a hard copy of TTYD ... it's hard to do these things when you don't like purchasing stuff over the internet..

Better get over your fear of that. The internet is one of the only ways I get my games. It's so hard to find stuff where I am at. I wanna try TTYD too. I haven't got my hands on that yet. I may get it off of Amazon, but I have some other stuff going on, and I need money for that.

Try Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time. It's great.
Waay, ahead of you, completed that a while back, waiting for the next one..
I love the fact it keeps you involved the whole time..
