Singing.

So today I was listening to my James Taylor collection, and I noticed something. Whenever I hear a song I like, I always sing along. If ever I'm bored, I just sing a song I like to myself. Now if I'm a good singer or not, that's a different story, but the fact remains, I really enjoy singing. If I don't have my computer or iPod there to listen to my music, I'll just sing it myself.

What about you, Escapists? Do you sing? Do you enjoy singing? It doesn't have to be singing for a band or something along those lines, just singing in general.

I sing alot when listening to music but I'm terrible at it so I never do it when others are around.

I love singing. I used to play instruments in school, but I much prefer the freedom with singing. I feel I can be more expressive and end up having much more fun than I used to in my music lessons.

I sing along to all kinds of crap, whether I like it or not. I find that some types of music/songs that aren't to my taste still offer good vocal workouts, and are often more fun to sing than to listen to.

I'd like to sing in a band, and have been told I'm good enough, but I'd be far too shy XD

When I am drunk, sure. I am a fucking VIRTUOSO when I am drunk.

Not any other time, though. I have to be at least a half-bottle of whiskey in before I can stand the sound of my own voice.

I like singing. I would love to sing in a band (and have on once-off sort of occasions). However when I say "band" I mean I could manage a covers band in a bar - not some rockgod type singing.

I honestly wish I had a voice like Mike Patton's - but I'm more on the good-enough to been in a highschool choir and/or church worship band sort of level.

I love singing. When I decided that piloting had too much math in it for me, singing was the other love of my life that I went to. I ended up being a music major in college and now I'm hoping to one day make a living at it. I'm kind of lazy, I doubt that'll happen.

Buuuuut anyway, I love to sing. When I'm at work, there's very few chances to sing, and even if you can, you'd be better off conserving energy for the next truck. However, whenever I'm almost through with my night and if there's only a few boxes to lug around, I'll sing my favorite song just to pass the time. Whenever it's Christmas time, as it is now, I sing Christmas Carols. If you get a video of you singing, I'd love to see it.

I love singing. I try to be in as many choirs at my school as possible. I think I am also going to start singing solos at my singing instructor's church, now that I have sang my first solo there.
