Do you only play single player games, only play multiplayer games, or both? If both, what percentage of your gaming would you say you devote to each?

I'm generally a single player guy, but every now and again I'll go on a multiplayer kick. I certainly have nothing against playing with others.

Percentage wise, err... maybe 90/10 or thereabouts? Can't say I've ever sat down with a calculator to work it out.

I play them both a lot. I really enjoy single player games and play them a lot but I also do a lot of multiplayer.

Percentage split would be something like 60% SP and 40% MP if I had to guess.

Yeah I'm trying to cut back on my multiplayer gaming. It is fun to play some CoD with friends, but I seem to waste mindless hours playing it otherwise when I could be playing more satisfying single player games. Don't worry about the calculator, I just meant as a rough guess :p

Currently playing single player games, as it stands i dont have many XBL friends so i only tend to play multiplayer if its a better experience to the single player.

I'd say 90% Multiplayer, the only thing that keeps me gaming as a hobby is the fact that I can laugh with friends on a nightly basis.

If I only played singeplayer I'd end up playing through 1 game every couple of weeks or something, I just get bored by myself.

Hmm, probably something like a 60:40 split between MP:SP.

With the largest percentage of my entire gaming time spent playing Counter-Strike, which would account for more than half the total altogether. I also have a few characters in different F2P MMO's that I tinker with on occasion, but more for the social aspects, low level PVP and fucking around fun. Not really into doing Raids, 'gearing up' and grinding and all that serious heavy shit MMO players get wet over.

I tend to just play single-player games when they come out (or when I get around to playing them the first time), and replay old favorites occasionally, I can't burn through single-player game after single-player game like some people can.. I get bored on my lonesome.

I haven't had a connection to live for months now, so 100% SP now. Before that probably 70/30 split between SP and MP respectively. I mainly only played Racing and Fighting games online. Of course I still play local MP now, just no online.

I actually have a good balance with SP:MP since I'm prone to play Baldurs gate an awful lot, however with ArmA II and Day Z being in the picture, I have hardly touched a single player game in the past 3 weeks :/

Most of it is multiplayer. TF2, Left 4 Dead 2, Killing Floor, occasional Minecraft sessions, Uncharted, Battlefield, etc. Multiplayer generally lasts so much longer than singleplayer.

I mostly play SP games, but I do enjoy from time to time a good MP match. Although, I like co-op games when the people I'm playing with know what they're doing.

I'd have to I almost exclusively play SP. If I had to put a estimate, I'd Say 90/10?
Usually the only time I play MP is when I go on a binge.

I'm a mostly single player gamer. I am not a fan of online multiplayer what so ever, due to the fact that I like working with team work than anything else. I do will play my fair share with friends I know well, though, from time to time.

Now online co-op I will do, as long as the person is a good team player. (a good example of this is RE5. I barely do online co-op with random people because mostly none of them are team players, always wanting to run ahead when I actually want to gather items, ect) But with friends? Hit me up. I love co-op gaming and I will play it at anytime.

I do play multiplayer only games though, like Team Fortress, Halo Reach maybe a few rounds of living dead, and Gears as well. I never play Modern Warfare multiplayer though. Neverrrr.

When I owned Aliens Vs. Predator, I did like playing that multiplayer. Aliens Colonial marines has me excited for it's multiplayer as well. I love the whole aspect of Human vs. Alien.

I mostly play single-player. I have phases where I play a few hours of TF2 a day but they usually end with me rage-quitting because all the really good people on the server are all on the same team.

98% of my gaming is devoted to Single Player. The other 2% is when my brother wants to play some Reach or something. Once I'm back home the ratio will likely increase to...92% - 8% since my GF is more of a gamer and there is a better selection of stuff for us to play. I haven't played an online game with other people in over a year.

Mainly single-player, though I did play quite a bit of multiplayer on the latest CoD. Was pleasantly surprised to find the vast bulk of players I met were just interested in playing the game - not spewing vile hate-ridden diatribes. Kinda fun.

But, yeah, mostly single-player or split-screen co-op against bots.
