So most of you will agree with me that Skyline isn't exactly good. The FX are nice, although the creatures do look a lot like like the hunters from the matrix. But there are a lot of down points that I'm not going to mention.
As I'm sure you are aware, a lot of films have tie-in games which are mostly appalling, notable exceptions being 'The Lion King' for Sega mega drive (or genesis, depending on your continent), and oddly 'Wolverine: Origins', even if it was in a "like God Of War, but..." way. But Skyline would make a terrible game, as the whole thing just wouldn't work in any way, for similar reason that made a poor film. However,(this next bit could ruin the end of the film for you, but honestly you aren't missing much) the events at the end could make a decent game, if well executed. I mean, the idea of one alien thing going up against all the others in a near-destroyed world is an appealing one. and it could allow for exposition, intrigue, decent action and believable characters you could relate with. You know, all the things the film was lacking in. So my point is this; Skyline is a poor film, but is it just a needlessly long intro sequence to a possibly good game?

Edit: Plus, you could find out what the deal was with the whole brain-theft-ingestion thing. Normally I don't mind if alien biology dosn't make sense in films, but this it too weird and too big a part to ignore.
