I bought Skyrim on release for my girlfriend since shes a big 'scrolls fan and honestly didn't expect to play it considering I intensely disliked Oblivion and downright hated Morrowind. Theres a bunch of reasons but when it comes down to it I'm not big on sandbox games and honestly enjoy being railroaded if it's in the name of a killer story.
That aside, I decided on the 360 version since even though we have a okay PC I heard a lot of horror stories about Oblivion for PC being unplayable on release and that it took months for it to get patched properly. So we get the game and I watch her play it and something clicks in my head, it plays like medieval Fallout. . . Fallout 3/NV being the two sandbox games I had no problem with, so now I'm addicted
But it seems like I made a bad decision since the word is that the PC version plays just fine as well as not having the 360 issue of pain-in-the-ass load times for entering and exiting buildings which is really getting on my nerves. Can anyone here vouch for this?
Also I'm thinking of grabbing Skyrim for computer with my next paycheck and wanted to know just how pretty I can put the setting with my current specs and which parts of my computer should be first on the upgrade list in order to set everything to max xD
Currently running:
AMD Phenom II X6 2.80 GHz
4gb DDR3 RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 9500GT 1Gb
Not sure if Motherboard is important but I can't really do anything about that anyway.
Any and all help would be appreciated
