Now I've finished Mafia 3 I'm finally moving onto playing the Special Edition of Skyrim. Again. Played it before but never finished it and the fact it comes with loads of mods you can just easily apply to it makes me even more interested.

So what mods available for it would you guys recommend? I'm not looking for any massive overhauls to the gameplay, more just modding it graphically and aesthetically. And bumping up the immersion a little so I can really get more into it.

Well, my perennial "conditional" mod for immersion is Khajiit speak, which is naturally dependent on whether or not you're playing as a Khajiit. The only thing it does is reword your dialogue options so they better fit Khajiit speech patterns and quirks. Less conditionally, there's Static Mesh Improvement, Realistic Water Two, and Vivid Weathers. Character models tend to be far more subjective, so I'll abstain from suggesting those right now.

A "must have" mod would be the Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch, which is more or less a compilation of bugfixes. SkyUI would usually be there as well, but last I'd heard it hadn't been ported to Skyrim Special Edition yet.
