Last week I found myself lying in bed with my laptop, playing Mahjongg two hours past bedtime. A small game bundled with my OS ruined my work efficiency the next day. I've also missed my bus several times after playing too much Bejeweled on my cell phone..

Now, to redeem myself I ask you, my fellow gamers: Are there any small games that really touch your tip? I find myself in a peculiar situation where I'm not sure whether to pity myself or find console in the fact that i'm easily entertained to the level of silliness. So please, share your input and keep me poor brain from overheating.

ohhhhh Tetris...

And a Browser game called Defend your Castle.

You defend your castle by picking up the invaders and Dropping them from great heights.

Its not only fun buy satisfies my dark and somewhat twisted sense of Humor.

Plants Vs. Zombies.
When you finish the adventure mode, you're gonna wanna make it to at least 100 flags on endless.
That game just gets you hooked.

I hate Bejeweled, but once I get playing it... time speeds up, and I manage to waste amazing amounts of time on it. Fabutzee on Facebook, Tetris (GOD, I love Tetris...), Mahjong if I come across it, this Bubble Spinner thing on Mindjolt...
...pretty, colourful, moving objects... @ _ @

Peggle.

I somehow always spend more time playing it than I intend to... I logged another three hours yesterday, and only stopped because my cat jumped up and sat in front of the screen (blocking my view -- she was overdue to be fed for an hour).

At other occasions it caused me to be late for matters like doctor's appointments and picking up people from the station.

I'm honestly having a hard time finding a simpler kind of game that ate up my time. Most likely because that would've been when I was much younger and frequented Newgrounds and such.

Right now? Online scrabble gets at me, haha. ... Back then however, probably Bejeweled.

...

Scratch that. I just recalled almost failing projects back in highschool because I'd sit there playing online pool all class. Bahaha.

Well, Geometry Wars is great. It's simple, but works really well, and can keep you going, being excited all the way.

The only similar experience I've had is when I've had REALLY deep thoughts. I've ended up many stations beyond my bus stop.

... Does that count? o_O

Why yes, yes it does... but only if you want to insult yourself. Mindgames are fine, but since it's all about small games you'd have to have a small mind.

Or then I'm just making things up. :D
