The title more or less explains it all. What do you do when you cant leave your house because of the massive amounts of snow. I pick up what ever single player gameim playing at the time and just power through that. Or I laze around on Facebook and text my friends. How about you?

The same thing I try and do every snow day, try and take over the wor - Nah I'm messing with you. I'm unemployed at the moment so nothing really changes except the radiator settings.

Don't think I've ever had one...
But it often snows enough to close school, then I go outside and play in the lovely snow! :D

Fun Fact: The last time school was closed due to snow was on my birthday. Best birthday ever. :3

We don't have that, we just have to go to school/work, no excuses. Was a ***** a week ago or so, the roads and especially the bicycle paths were one big ice sheath.

Thats how it usually is for us too. But it literally is impossible to drive anywhere today so they had to close schools

I push open the door and squeeze through it, and start shovelling. Can't let a little snow stop me from getting stuff done, now can I? When the snow's gone, which if there's that much of it that I have to squeeze through my door will take a long time, I take a well deserved shower and settle in front of my favourite radiation-producing screen for a bit.

Then you walk, that's what they say then over here, or just bike really really carefully. Again, no excuses.

You must live in a smaller city. For us you can't walk. To school it would be at least 2 hours for some people.

Regardless of how much snow there is, I have to shovel the sidewalk, steps and garbage area of my apartment.

My high school was that far away too, biking took about half an hour. Despite snow, we still had to go. They were a little more lenient with punishments for being too late, but it wasn't an excuse for just not coming.

There's a rule about snow days at school...

...our break is 10 minutes shorter and we aren't allowed to throw snowballs within 150ft of a school building.

United Kingdom
Go outside, take some pictures of the wonderful countryside, immediately curse my warmest jacket for being useless at keeping out the cold, head back inside, get into bed, game/search the internet for stuff to do.

What is this "snow day" you speak of? I live in Florida.
Actually when I lived in Illinois, I usually got up early, de-iced my car (as best as possible) and attempted to drive to work anyway seeing as how my boss was an assjack who didn't care if I had to walk 20 miles thru sub-zero temps. On days no one could make it to work tho, I'd sit at home and chop wood for the fire cuz I'd be damned if I'd freeze in my own home.

I go back to bed, then wake up a couple hours later and play games for the rest of the day.

My life is meaningless.

That doesn't exist in Edmonton. Know where Edmonton is?

Yeah. We get lots of snow. We don't get snow days. But if we did, I'd probably do homework or play video games, just like any other day off.
