I've gotta say, practicing on the keyboard is extremely humbling because even playing just a snippet of Imagine by John Lennon on Medium makes me feel like a baseball size chunk of my brain has been removed. Only thing saving my keyboard from being chucked across the room is how expensive it was

On the plus side, at least I get to work my way back up to Expert again, just like when I first got GH2 and sucked for months.

Are you kidding? A skilled keyboard player can add whole levels of depth to a band when far to many rely on a more traditional setup. Adding aditional instuments to a band (as long as they're played well) can change the sound for the better, and does consistently.

Well, it may not be as 'cool' as playing guitar, but without a keyboard, a lot of songs would be missing something. I'm actually looking forward to trying it out. Oh, and I don't really see how the keyboard is nerdy. Keyboardists may not be the exact star of the band, but I don't think they're uncool. Nerdy in my opinion would probably consist something more along the lines of being completely obsessive over a game or fandom.

Apparently the keyboard brigade are in town tonight! I'm not going to keep arguing for the sake of it, I just think the keyboard is kinda uncool compared to the other members of the band. Something that I assumed, wrongly, would be an opinion shared by many.
