I was just looking at the drunken moogle (a site with recipes for video game based drinks), and I just got curious as to what types of drinks Escapist members prefer. Frankly, I'm a fan of vodka, rum (especially with coke), gin (especially with juice), margaritas, and red wine. I really can't stand beer, though.

So, Escapist, how do you take your alcohol, if at all?

Also, I'm preparing for a cast party, so if anyone has ideas, I'm all ears.

Seriously though, I like Tequila(of Any Kind). I like Rum and Smirnoff Vodka(only Smirnoff)

I don't like Beer either.

I don't like Whiskey either. Both Whiskey and Beer Activate a gag reflex with me.

This is a very plain and boring answer but I stick with beer, with the occasional long drink. I also do like Salmiakki Koskenkorva shots once in a while (for those who don't know what that is, well, I'm not surprised: it's a Finnish thing. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salmiakki_Koskenkorva )

I think you mean moogle, as for my drinks, Gin Tonic (counts as one), and the Noel Vermillion drink from The Drunken Moogle.

I mostly drink an Aussie Pilsner called Reschs because it's really easy to drink and a bit different than normal Draught, but porters and stouts are the brew of choice.

I like mine straight, and preferably one sort. The whole cocktail phenomenom just seems to be hiding certain flavours for no good reason.

I have stayed the hell away from rum since I was 15, not a pleasant memory that one.
