Gotta say, it's pretty neat so far. Probably Definitely too many settings options, but a "one-and-done" might apply to most of them anyways.

However, the one setting I've been disappointed with so far that appears significantly downgraded from PS3 is Sound Options.

My receiver [http://www.crutchfield.com/S-kdEcfujgVgz/p_158STDH520/Sony-STR-DH520.html] plays everything in 7.1 on PS3, right up to Linear PCM whenever available (like Uncharted 2-3 for example).

But with PS4, whether I choose the all-encompassing "Bitstream DTS" or "Linear PCM", I only end up with 2.1 in Uncharted 4's Sound Options.

Is there something special I have to do to get 7.1? It always just worked with PS3. I had Bitstream checked on that along with every LPCM option available and could pick every sound option a game had.

Has anyone else had a problem with this? I'm waiting for Sony chat support in the meantime to see what they say...

*edit* Thanks to a bit more googling and not chat support, fixed it by setting the HDMI Audio Out to AMP only instead of AMP+TV. Now it works like it should, and the game sounds outstanding.
