So as title said, this is it:
Ascendancy
Rhuin, Dark One of Destruction, was defeated, but his corruption remains, and it is up to the young War-master Camerath Firehson to put an end to it, but as an ancient force awakens once more, he will need the support of everyone he can call upon, or he will surely fall.
?From north, east, south and west, all will answer the call of Destruction. Only one amongst them, lost and found, can halt unholy slaughter. In armour forged in darkest depths, a hero will emerge to fight the trio he once swore to destroy. When reality tears and hope escapes, He who cheated death shall deliver us...? - Prophecy of Destruction.
A mere thousand years after the events that shook the world, the elven civilisations is returning to its past glory, in no small part due to the heroics of young Camerath ? not part of the generation that fought against the Dreadlord Kamerall as he ravaged the world, but just as zealous in his convictions of those who sought to tear down the elven kingdoms. But now a new threat has been foretold, that Kamerall the Unspoken might one day return to reap his revenge. Camerath takes it upon himself in his youthful rashness to put an end to Rhuin forever. But as he is disowned and hated for his gifts, he must make the journey with only his impressionable cousin and weary sister in the search for his people's salvation. As he battles with himself to do what is right, and does what is necessary, can he succeed in his righteous mission?
My name is Cameron Hogg, I'm 18 years old, and I've loved to write ever since I was a child. I have been writing and adding to 'State of Mind: Ascendancy' for about 4 years now, and it of started as a series of linked short stories.
I decided that I would want to one day become a successful writer when I found out that Christopher Paolini was so young when he published 'Eragon'. I had always been told my writing was amazing, and my school even published some of my short stories I had written. Since that day I have been writing and seeking criticism and advice on my writing from family members to my English teachers. I have always received good grades for my fictional stories, and have received compliments on my creativity.
I plan to continue writing, and have several ideas for different book already, including two more book to follow on from 'Ascendancy'. I use personal experience and emotion to write my books, and I think it gives it a more realistic character base that readers can relate to. I have never been one for conformity, and all my writing has plot twists and unexpected turns that baffle any who read it, and ropes them in to continue reading.
My manuscript is complete, and is available for you to read upon request.
Thank you for your time, and I hope to hear from you.
Sincerely,
Cameron Hogg
