So, would really like to watch/own the new Voltron show from earlier in the year, but I'd much rather have it on dvd than do a subscription for it. But its been a few months, and still no sign, so, how long am I likely to be waiting?
So... How long does it take for netflix Originals to hit DVD?

I'm not certain they have an actual timetable.
House of Cards Season 4 was released on Netflix in March 2016 and popped out on DVD July 2016
Unbreakable Kimmy Schimidt Season 2 was released on Netflix April 2016 and has not popped out on DVD yet (Season 1 was released March 2015 and did not appear on DVD until March 2016)
Black Mirror Season 1 released December 2011 and did not get a DVD release until January 2013
So standard seems to be a yearish (similar to regular TV Shows on TV as usually the DVD for the previous season is launched around the time the next season comes out). From my quick little Google searches, House of Cards is the odd man out with it's timeframe; everything else that I looked at was one year or so.
