After a few months of twiddling my thumbs I somehow managed to attain a DotA 2 Key. So pretty much I have no friends who like DoTa-esque games (Something's wrong with them, I know.).

And I have a spare 2 beta invites/gifts(Two spare keys to giveaway x)).

So let's hear those sap stories guys if you're unlucky enough to not have a key yet x).

Played LoL a lot, couldn't find anyone to play it with, so I stopped for awhile. Then some of my friends started playing and got me back into it. Had some good times with them, but now they've gone competitive and have decided I'm not good enough to be on the team. So basically I started playing MOBAs again because of my friends, who have now ditched me. It would be nice to play DoTA 2 to 1) rub it in their faces if it turns out it is better and 2) find a new MOBA that isn't tainted with the betrayal of my friends.

What! How did you get the spare 2 invites? When valve sent me my invite in December I didn't get the 2 spare invites. I even emailed them and they said they had discontinued the gift invites. I am all kinds of sad

Yeah, I won a Dota 2 key during the Steam sale, but I have no idea how to play and there's no tutorial or singleplayer option that I can find. Don't really relish the chance to try an online game and get yelled at for not knowing how to play.

I hate DotA and LoL and HoN and anything that's an acronym with both upper AND lowercase letters. I'm not really trying to be funny or sarcastic here... I am terrible at these games and as a result don't care for them.

I do like Demigod though, oddly enough.

Is DotA 2 incredible? Will it change my mind? Maybe it's worth a beta key to find out, but maybe not. If you gave me one, I'd give it an honest chance like I would anything else, but you might be wasting it, too.

You decide whether you want a beta to be about people who already know and love the formula going through the motions and climbing a ladder that will just be wiped when the final release comes out, or whether it should be the partial domain of the haters who will look at the pre-release with a critical eye. Not setting out to hate, but prepared to do so if necessary. As I say, I liked Demigod mostly for its style, and if anyone knows style, it's probably Valve.

Mhee, it's better this days. When the beta started more than half the matches were made of pure noobness; went 20W:3L farming their asses. What bother's me this days are the noobz watching EG, NaVi and the like and foaming waves of nonsense in the chat -.-''
