So I got Xp defender

How do I get it off Ive gone to a few sites followed it and it doesn't really work does anyone have advice? [BTW Xp defender is virus that looks like windows security.]

You do a system revert. Its the simplest way.

You just hit start - run - and type in system revert.

Revert it to about and hour before you got the virus.

Wow that's a lot better then the other ways i will tell if it works

Thats what I did.

The other ways require you to completely nuke the computer.

Well most just say to get a new thing like AVG or SpyZooka and I have AVG but that dont detect it and SpyZooka wants me to buy it

EDIT: Spyzooka just told me of some cookies those are gone any more help?

Safest bet is to take it into somewhere like Geek Squad and get it fixed for some outrageous amount of money.

Or if you're a bit cheaper you can probably find some free antivirus through google that will take care of it going with the nothing to lose philosophy.

Well since I have done 3 different anti virus things and none worked the second option is done and don't have money to get it fixed. SO i am screwed basically it doesent cause data loss it just slows down and is annoying.
