So i just bought Dark Souls..

And im about 45 minutes into it.
Ive made it passed the first boss with no problems at all.

After taking down the second boss, follow the path to the bridge with the dragon and turn right from the door you come in to the balcony where you can find ME! That's right, me. I'll hand you an essential item for multiplayer called the White Summon Soapstone which will allow you to be summoned to assist your fellow players in JOLLY CO-OPERATION.

Also, be sure your DEX stat is 12 and equip a bow with 30-50 arrows. Once you get under the bridge, shoot the dragon's tail a bunch for a weapon that should last you for a good portion of the game.

jolly co-operation my ass i cant tell you how annoying it is for some asshole with a lagswitch to come and hunt me down with some OP weapon.

Yeah, get the Drake Sword as soon as possible. Thing is a lifesaver for the first section of the game to the point where it's ALMOST a game-breaker. Just don't use the strong attack unless it's an emergency as it wears down the weapon quickly.
