And I'm crying my eyes out. God I'm a sucker for those endings.
Now I will probably end up over appreciating every little moment in life for the next little while here, so whilst I'm in this mood I thought it would be best to start up another anime.

Any recommendations?(preferably something that won't make me cry like a baby)
Also, if you've seen it, what did you think of 'Welcome to the N.H.K'?

I loved Welcome to the NHK. It's one of my all-time favorites.

Have you seen Clannad?
Oh, wait, something that WON't make you cry?

I can't think of one at the moment.

I loved it. Same on the crying.

I don't cry often but jeez that just hit the button.

I just watched Toradora! and it was pretty good... I'm trying to find something too, so hooray.

Well, if you like school romances, may I recommend School Days?

Welcome to the NHK was one of the best animes i have ever seen, and i'll probably watch it again at some point.

For recommendations, buckle up:
Soul eater (absolute favourite)
tengen toppa gurren lagann
highschool of the dead (absolute favourite)
tenjou tenge
melancholy of haruhi suzumiya (absolute favourite)
to love-ru (absolute favourite)
dragonaut
hugirashi no naku koro ni
hayate no gotoku
black lagoon
bakemonogatari (absolute favourite)
Tsukuyomi moon phase
sky girls
strike witches (absolute favourite)
kissxsis (absolute favourite)
kissxsis 2010 (almost same thing, (absolute favourite))
K-on (absolute favourite)
Ladies VS. Butlers (absolute favourite)
Chocotto sister (absolute favourite)

I've probably seen 100-200 animes in my life, sadly i dont remember half of them.

the ones marked (absolute favourite) are the ones that made me cry, made me laugh very hard, that i've seen several times or that i simply just like more than the others.

Have fun!

edit: Toradora and shuffle, jesus christ how could i forget?!

both of them actually made me cry to be honest.

Edit again: You could watch school days, but i recommend you dont :p I threw up twice the first time i watched that.

Oh god, i actually dont like TTGL anymore, the second season is just plain boring. But im recommending it anyway because it was a pretty big part of my life back then.

Absolutely this. Seriously, it will make your life worthwhile watching it.

On topic, I've been meaning to watch Welcome to the N.H.K.
Maybe after I finish Spice and Wolf and Gunslinger Girl I will.

The first arc (pre-time-skip) and the last few episodes are the only ones I bother watching, anyway, just because of Kamina and the manliness in the last few episodes.

I've seen most of that, including School Days(that is burned into my skull). Except for K-on,chocotto, strike witches, and maybe Dragonought. I can't remember if I saw it or not, but i have a feeling I did.
I've watched alot of anime as well. Also can't remember(or rather, repressed) more than half of it.

XD I just finished watching spice and wolf before Welcome to the NHK. That was a great series. I really liked both seasons of it too. THough the ending was....lackluster I suppose.

Strike witches and K-on are definietly two animes that you need to watch, season 2 of both are still in the making :p

Chocotto sister isn't action and it isn't drama, it's just a guy who wants a little sister, so a female santa claus on a flybike gives it to him lol. Seriously though, thats the only part thats weird, the rest of the anime is FANTASTIC! It's a liiiiittle ecchi, but that's a good thing, right? xP

I was actually a bit confused by the ending of NHK for a bit, it was rather late when I watched it and it was all very random for me. I can't quite remember it but I don't think I found it that sad although it made me look inwards a little bit which is something nothing has managed to do before.

Clannad made me cry though. Jesus christ. That's never getting out of my head.

I don't really know for recommendations. I'd say Code Geass (duh) if you haven't seen it. Highschool of the Dead is an ongoing anime and it is turing out to be really good (just if you look over the mount everbreasts that is, although they just make me laugh)

EDIT: Three more I've just thought of, Air Gear, quite a fun anime to watch if you let it take you in, however by that time, it will probably end and you will wish there was more. Still I thought it was quite good.

Higurashi no naku koro ni and Higurashi no naku koro ni kai, I've found them to be one of the more interesting animes I've watched so far, one of my favourites. A rather interesting story even if it is confusing at first, give it time and it's great.

Lastly Kuroshitsuji (1 and 2) both of which I've found to be very interesting. Sure even as I watch it I hear all of those fangirls making the ever disturbing yaoi parings however it is good and fun. Starts of weak but finishes very strong in my opinion.

I heard the same from a few friends of mine.
I need a series to sort of wind down with though, which I heard Spice and Wolf was good for. It'll be good after Escaflowne, 11 episodes of which I watched last night. Sleep deprivation, woo! All worth it to finish the series.

That's another good one, if you haven't seen it.

It's the story of a merchant, Lawrence, who makes the acquaintance of the wolf goddess Horo/Holo, and their journeys trying to get Horo to her hometown. Second season was kind of a letdown compared to the first season, but eeh it's pretty good.

A little ecchi is good, alot of ecchi is GREAT!XD

But yeah, i've been meaning to watch K-on for a while, I just never got around to it. I mean, I still have like, 20 other anime on the go. Hmm, maybe I'll just finish Kemonozume.....

Also, seriously, we watch anime. Everything in it is "weird" to your average person.
