Anyway, what name did you pick? Or did you go with a name that wasn't included? Also, did an in-game character having the ability to say your name make you feel any more immersed? I know I smiled a bit when Cogsworth first said it.

Before this thread goes too far, I just want to point out. They have recordings if you name your character "fuckface", "boobies", and "sexy". But not for Rachel... how in the hell? That's a common ass name, Bethesda. I went to school with like ten of them.

I think if your Surname is on the list he'll go with that. I've seen videos of people using two names from the list and he says the last one if he can (if not, he goes with the first).

I'm all for funny names, sure, but they left out some rather common names.

My sister, Brenna, is in the game (which was surprising).
Our mom and dad, Greg and April aren't.

"Brenna" isn't even a word according to spell-check but it's in the game over "Greg" and "April"?

It seems really limited comparatively. My usual RPG character's name, Jon, is on the list so I'm likely set.
But since there's not a lot of last names, it seems odd that Rockatansky made it through, even for the Max reference. Would have preferred to use "wanderer" or "road warrior" if we're using Mad Max joke names. I'd have preferred more nicknames, so you could have a character name and still get the robot butler to call you by a set moniker, like Siri or Cortana on phones.
Jeffery is on there but Geoffery isn't, which I found odd considering they sound the same

Does just your robot address you, or do other characters do it as well?

I was standing in line at the midnight release at my local Gamestop and my better half had the list of names.

You have not lived until you 100 gamers all asking if their name is on that list and then having to tell people with simple names like Greg that no you're not on the list.

But don't worrye Furioisa, Humongous, Sterling and a ton of joke names are there. But not Susan, carol, greg, etc.
