Halloween Forever
Your charatcer jump and shoot corns from his mouth to hurt enemies alright, the enemies are places in good positions so it is not unfair for you, very colorful, many Bosses to fight and many secrets. Nearly everything perfect.
You will notice also while you are playing, it is fairly easy at first. This is for a good reason. If you die once, you start over the beggining of a stage. Plus if you lose all your life, you finished. You must start from the beggining. The game have 5 Stages btw.
However if you are enough careful and you don't rush, you can finish a run in 25-40 minutes.
This seems short, but you must take in account that each character you discover and the one you have in the beggining have two different endings, so the replayability is strong.
Sadly it have some problems:
- The control even if are responding and enjoyable, some functions are weird. To fall from a platform, you press down, then jump. To climb a ladder you press use. However you must still press use to go up. if you press up, you will jump and if you are not quick to press use again, there is a possibility to fall into spikes...
Needs some tries to learn them, but after some tries, it come natural.
- The last two Stages are stupidly easy [with the exception of two bosses]. If you pass the first three, just relax, because the only real challenge are the Final Boss.
That all. In the end it is an enjoyable platformer game. 9/10. Awesome.
