So I played "Knight of Days". It is the Megaman game which at least I wanted from "Mighty No. 9"

I backed "Mighty No. 9" a with high hope I will enjoy it being a very faithful adaption of the well-known character Megaman.
I was very wrong.
Then I paid 1 dollar to buy this game just for the heck of it, and because it is a Megaman Clone-like game.
Worth it. And even more I will admit.

At first it seems it was a very basic Megaman-like as I said for iOs and the developers decided to bring it as well on PC.
However even if it have basic gameplay, it is very challening and at some point you can say it is a little-bit of metroidvania as well. Just a little.
After a introduction Stage, you can select one of the three available Stages which you defeat on each one a Boss.
However you can come back with a specific power-up you bought and use it to reach an Life you couldn't get before. Yes, you buy the power-ups with money. Not from the fallen Bosses you defeated.

The have some complains of course:
- The game is short, but it cost only a dollar, so not a real complain. just wished for more.
- You need to grid for money to get the most updates.
- Only few updates worth buying.
- If you die once, you respawn from the start of the game. Only after a Boss Room the game take pity of you and save for you there. Glad for that.
- Some unfair death-holes. but only few.

So if you like to play a game to get rid of your Megaman addiction for a couple of hours and you don't want to buy a coffe, then I suggest you to buy it. 8/10.

Because it is difficult to find it even if you google it, here is the link:

Eh, while it doesn't look terrible, it just comes off as just another retro style platform shooter.

To say it's meant to be a satisfying substitute for Mighty No. 9 is a bit of a stretch, but that's what you're into and it's only my opinion.

Personally, there are several titles out there that easily fill my Megaman itch, so while this seems like it could be fun for a buck's worth, I'll probably pass get back to Azure Striker Gunvolt 2.

Let's just say if I paid for Mighty No 9 20 euros to support the developers and in the end it deserve a 4/10 for me, then yes this game is FAR more sarisfying.
I enjoy it so much that I hope for a sequel in the future. Bigger and better.

Azure is indeed a good game a far better spirtual successor of Megaman. I hope the sequel is even better.
