I've been writing my own songs for a while now, so I finally decided to put a few of them online for the world to listen to. I have a pretty cheap set-up (macbook and mic), so obviously they're just demos. I'd kind of like to know what some other people thought of them though.

I uploaded them to my UG profile here: http://profile.ultimate-guitar.com/Suav+Nitebeest/

"Sincere" is a mostly acoustic song, and "When It All Comes Down" kicks in the distortion a bit.
If you're skeptical before checking them out, I'd guess they fall under the general category of alternative/hard rock. A Perfect Circle, Incubus, Deftones, Filter, that kind of thing.

Hmmm, Wouldn't really call you hard rock. I reckon from what I have heard your trying to aim at the wrong market. They were not bad, but they seemed for suited for chill-out relaxing music, but the singing did not suit that genre. My advice would be to kick up the tempo a bit or change the style of singing. Of course this is just my personal opinion. You weren't bad though.
I have a few other songs that I haven't recorded yet that fit the hard rock description a bit more, I guess I was just thinking of that. Although I'd like to think that I rock out a bit during the last half of When It All Comes Down ;)

I liked the gutair riff at the start of it all comes down.
Bit of constuctive critisism though:Get a singer (possibly a female,a female's voice would suit the music)
Anyway very good
