On Sunday, I turn 18, which is supposedly a big deal, yeah?
I plan on not doing much. I'm lazy. :]

BUT I was just curious:
What did/ are you planning to do for your 18th birthday?
Anything interesting? Worth mentioning?
Anything I should look into doing?

(Just to be clear: Here 18 is the legal drinking age/ when you become an 'adult'. I think it's 21 in America? Am I right? )

Don't do what my friend did. That is, drink three quarters of a bottle of rum, puke, then fall asleep.

I did absolutely nothing interesting, except go to and get banned from a club with three hot girls in the same night. *smiles and sighs* Good times.

I took the day off work so I could stay home and play video games. No party, maybe a dinner with family, but it was just an excuse to stay home to me. Congratulations, you'll be able to drink and smoke.

Didn't do anything for my 18th either. Went out a week or so later on a sunday with a couple of friends for drinks, but alas, didn't have appropriate ID on me xD

I didn't want to have a big party on account of all the shit that can go wrong if its not organised thoroughly. And fuck that, i'm lazy too.

I had a couple of drinks, because my parents paid me not to until then, and I wasn't dishonest...

Not much else to be honest, I think my girlfriend was the only one at the pub who knew it was my birthday.

I become 18 on a weekday, so I went to the closest store during lunch recess, bought a single bootle of beer and drank it.
Hardly a big celebration, especially since I had been buying beer on the sly from that store for over a year already (never used a fake ID, the owner just neglected to ask for it).

Celebrating surviving another years seems awfully strange to me; as if no one expected you to, so they throw a party.

Stop being so melodramatic. Its an excuse to do something fun and be with family and friends if you can't see that and rather live in your angsty world then enjoy life go ahead just don't be trying to pull others down into your pit.

Probably slept, I hate birthdays as no matter what I do, I'll always look back and think "fuck, well that was a disapointment".

My friends 18ths on the other hand were all fucking excellent. ^_^

Hung out with my friends and told them that if I see a single present, the person who the presents will die. I was 18, there was nothing new. I could drink legally, so what?

Bought a bottle of vodka, just because I could. Clerk lady didn't even ask for my ID, so I was annoyed.

Apart from that, I really can't remember, so probably nothing special. I'm not at all bothered by birthdays anyway.
