So it seems like the Fifa 12 hacking scum are still around -_-

I heard about this story like 8 months ago on the escapist and I was a bit miffed at was was going on but I didn't really pay much attention to it and assumed it would be fixed pretty sharply. Anyway, I log in to xbox live this afternoon and realise ive got 100 points on my account when i previously had 2000. I instantly remembered this discussion on the escapist and remembered the link to fifa 12. Sure enough I had the 3 achievements on Fifa 12 even though i'd never played it in my life.

So my question is, do you think this will ever be fixed and also has anyone else had this done to them RECENTLY?

Nope. Did you give out your account details to someone? I had the complete opposite of this on PS3 I logged on one day to find I had 15 unopened packs on Ultimate Team an 25,000 Ultimate Team coins. I think it was a glitch with EA or compensation for not being rewarded after matches on UT I kept getting "lost connection to EAS FC server"

Until EA own up and say there was a security flaw with their servers and have fixed the problem, I don't think this will stop happening.

In the mean time, I'm satisfied not playing any EA game on my 360, because whenever you connect to an EA server your Live ID and password gets transmitted to the server, which is how I think the hackers are accessing people's login information.

Due to the lack of information from EA regarding their problem, this is only an educated guess, but I haven't connected to any EA servers on my 360 and I haven't been hacked so I must be doing something right.
