Another yeah another Movember, this is frankly the first time I've participated in it as it's the first time I've felt confident enough to have a moustache aswell as a beard.

So this is gonna be a pretty straight forward thread; did you grow a mo for Movember? Do you like your mo? Did it tickle your significant others "fancy"? Shall you be keeping your mo into the holiday period?

I for one shall be keeping mine for a while as I've grown quite fond of it, it's a shame it grows slower than my beard though ):

[small]Any moustache related trivia? I for one know that until the first World War the British Army had compulsory moustaches. That's right. Compulsory. [/small]

I did not for I already have a nice and happy goatee! You can see it in my profile picture when I got confused and wore my side job's uniform to my normal job...Oops!

I was clean-shaven for a long while during a life-crisis when I thought it would look more professional at the place I was working (turns out it wasn't the beard; that place just forgot that having fun while at the office should be allowed) and now that I'm at a much happier place to work at, I have re-grown it.

I don't really participate in Movember because once my beard reaches a certain length it starts to get scraggly and I look terrible, I just like to have a nice 5'o clock shadow going.

I've been growing a moustache for Movember but it hasn't gone amazingly to be honest, my upper lip hair is too sparse to get something that actually looks decent, or is visible at-all from more than a couple of metres away. Only just 20 though so maybe in a few years...

I stopped participating in Movember a few years ago. Got to being too many people 'participating' that weren't into/were ignorant of the whole raising funds and awareness for Men's Health Issues that started it.

Still do Shave For A Cure (head shaving charity for childhood cancer) when it comes around, though... at least, I do when someone reminds me it's on...

I can't grow a moustache whatsoever, but I do have a little patch of hair below my chin that I haven't shaved at all this November.

It's quite dark and scraggly at the moment.

I have sideburns that kind of look like Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, if that counts

Mind you, they're not THAT hairy, but still >.>

Yeah. I just finished shaving it 'cause I've got a friend's party to go to and you couldn't really see my face for all the hair on it, but I didn't mind. I've kinda got a reputation for having a lot of facial hair even without Movember, so I probably didn't need to shave but... yeah, its better to put in the effort.

I haven't shaved in a couple of days, and I barely have any hair on me. Best I have is a few hairs on my chin and a very thin mustache.

I'm 19 and facial hair barely appears at all on me...if I tried to grow any sort of beard/moustache for Movember it would be hardly noticeable xD

I don't do movember. I'm superstitious and only bad luck has come from the times I've done it. I did grow an epic beard when I was overseas for two months and then promptly was made to shave it off by the girlfriend. I have however secretly grown some decent sideburns while she's been away for two weeks and they're gonna stay.

I used Movember as an excuse not to shave altogether, just having a mustache on it's own would probably look pretty ridiculous on me. My facial hair is pretty patchy so it looks meh and I lack the hair that would connect my chin to my tache and thus I can't grow a goatee which sucks as I can't really think of any other way to style it, so I can either look disheveled with this beard or like a 12 year old clean shaven. I just hate my face regardless of what's on it to be honest. XD

I have a goatee already, but I have to keep it clean and short because I work in the food industry. But I did go an extra day between shavings to show my support as best I could.

The Mo part of movember for me is pretty lame, for some reason only blonde hair grows on my upper lip but the rest of my beard is red so you can't really see the mo from a distance, but I'm ok with that because my usual style doesn't require a Mo

I grew a mo' and beard. Any excuse to not shave.

It looks alright, if a bit scruffy.

Christ almighty though, I'd forgotten how uncomfortable facial hair gets. I'm shaving this itchy sucker off at the end of the month.
