So, my Xbox Live account was hacked. This ever happen to you?

The title says it all, My account was just hacked today and some [Expletive deleted] bought $150 in add-ons for Call of Duty and Madden. As if I need another reason to hate those games.
So my fellow escapists, have you ever been hacked?

Well my xbox account has never been hacked but my WoW account was, I only had it for a week, got to 70, and called it quits. Than it was hacked, really didn't phase me except for the fact they tried charging me for a year subscription to which I promptly fixed. Other than that, never been hacked of anything important.

its easy enough to happen, and i know how, a mate of mine runs a site to where you have to register your windows live account and password to get a "free XBL code/MS points" and you gleefully give your information away, its great, but wrong, but you get 300 odd passwords in a month and we were very surprised

My steam account got hacked once. Got it back within 2 days, there were no extra charges on it. Guess I got off lucky.

I've only ever once been hacked directly and had my PC hijacked. I immediately pulled the network cable and got rid of the goddamn trojan that caused it. HA!

Though I do get an infuriating number of phishing letters in my email inbox, for accounts I never even created (like Runescape) and accounts I haven't touched in forever (WoW). Those phishermen just won't give up until they have my information.

People with nothing better to do hacked into and disabled my Gmail account. Twice. When I looked into it it turned out that the IP address came from Iran. Needless to say I was less than happy so I sent Google details of what had happened, the first time it happened it took them less than a day to respond and fix it. Second time it happened it took them over a week to even respond, *one slightly angry e-mail later* Account fixed.

A friend got hacked but then a bunch of people joined the party that the guy was in and they apparantly threatened him, so he got his account back.
it was stupid though, it was because he gave his email and password to this guy "in exchange" for a freaking "10th Lobby", where you can cheat your way to 10th prestige.

Why would that option even be there? Once you've bought it, it should be yours forever. It's the only reason I have faith in my PSN and Steam lists.

Man, that sucks. Feel a need to change my password though even though the hacking chances are like 1/2000000000. lol.

My computer got bricked by a virus which also gave someone my Steam an Xbox accounts. Steam support was a godsend and I had that one back within the day (with some Counter Strike achievements I didn't have before, figures the douche who took my account would play it). Xbox support... Not so much. I ended up just making a new account and that saved me loads of time and effort. It was actually kinda fun getting achievements and unlocks back.

I've never been hacked. My accounts have been accused by paranoid WoW/Runescape emails to be buying and selling gold for real world currency? What, I can't have shit loads of money and give it to my basic character(s) so it doesn't get taken...?

Though I have hacked into a friend's account, I was doing it for fun and the retard has his password bypass question as "What's you favourite food?" with the magical answer "Pizza". For that dick move there I decided to change his Facebook page, Myspace page and XBLA to make him out to be some massive pseudo-masochist then taught him how to make a REAL bypass question/answer. Everything I have done still hasn't changed

Someone hacked my Steam account, which I almost never use. Didn't steal anything, but he was racked up hundreds of friends on it before he tried to change the e-mail address. I got alerted on that which is how I found out about it.
