So Shin Megami Tensei Strange Journey is getting remade

This was a different game in the franchise. It was sort of Aliens or Stargate with a SMT coat of paint. I did feel like it was a bit underwhelming but hopefully the remake fixes that.

Strange Journey felt a lot like classic SMT in an era where they weren't making games like those any more so it was a welcome experience. It's been ages since I played it but I am definitely looking forward to it. Jack Ace was hype.

I'd definitely be interested if the dungeon navigation is like SMT IV, actual character movement and not the original Strange Journey where it's on a grid. Yes, that is the only thing that might prevent me from buying this.

Oh right, I haven't even gotten smt4-2 yet. Though I did already finish the JP ver of p5. Just that one alone is worth all your money to be honest. It'll be the game all other Jrpgs are compared to for the foreseeable future.

Oh man, I feel so spoiled. Nier and Persona back to back? What a console generation for JRPG's. And that's after I thought they'd grown stale and dead last generation. Japan's decided to take video gaming back.
