I know alot of people are comparing this ending to Mass Effect 3's, and I understand that it might come off as unfinished or vague, but I like the Desmond ending. It leaves me with a feeling that this series isnt over yet (well maybe for desmond), but it was also satisfying. I wanted a philosophical ending with an interesting twist, and I got it. (for the record, I wasnt crazy about the original mass effect ending, but the extended cut ones are fine).
The only problem I had with this ending is that they build up a choice that you end up not getting. Seriously, how many people thought they would get a choice between walking away and freeing Juno, cause I did. Oh well.
Having said all of that, the Connor ending is brilliant. It's so tragic. Conner had been fighting for nearly 10 years of his life, for a nation where everyone, regardless of race, would be free and happy. Despite all of the work he's done, people he's killed, sacrifices he's made and blood he's shed, he gets nothing. His fight has been for nothing. It's deliciously heartbreaking, if that makes any cents.
Well theres my two cents, I figured I'd just throw that out there.
