According to the review it's to look at and the acting is good but the story is well shit which is kind of a deal breaker for me personally.

To me it always Looked rubbish. It doesn't help that the first twenty minutes of the teaser trailer is just some woman providing boring exposition.

I don't whole with the "Hollywood Racism" attitude. Sure, an Iranian playing the Prince would be nice, but so what if they don't get one? Iranians are caucasian anyway. We never complain when we get British people to play Germans in movies all the...oh wait. Yes I do.

EDIT: Never liked Jake Glyndgigleghagaal much either. Always looks as though he is about to burst into tears, whatever movie he is in.

I heard it was ok, by far the best videogame movie ever, not that it's saying much. Apparently the dialogue is woollen and shoddy but the action is decent and it ticks all the right boxes for a decent popcorn film. Why were you expecting a great story anyway? Have you any experience with the Prince of Persia franchise at all?

Also, I don't care if it's bad. I loved the games and I'm going to see it; and if it's a flop, I'll just feel better about setting the Magic Kingdom on fire.

Another person thinks a movie adaptation of a popular video game stinks? Well personally i'm not that surprised by it. However i will still watch the movie even if it has Jake Gyllenhack playing the prince.

I can't say that they screw up EVERY video game movie, I found the Super Mario Bros movie quite enjoyable; then again, it is a DISNEY MOVIE based off of a video game and even has a movie game based off of it. It is quite depressing to see a game based off of a movie based off of a game. It's like getting the novelization of a movie based off of a book.
