Was a while back I last posted here, and back then I remember there was a quite popular topic on the browser-based text MMORPG, http://urbandead.com.

A bunch of us from way back then (sadly I think most of us have since disappeared) had quite some fun in the initial pages of that topic - We even made our own little group, called The Escapists - http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/The_escapists - though since I last checked I think it's pretty much dead.

Anyone still about? I know since my little hiatus I've definitely lost contact with anyone involved (and the site has changed alot since back then).

If this isn't shameless advertising and this is actually trying to find old users, you'll have to use the search bar for their names. Chances are if you don't remember their names it's impossible to find them.

wow that would be so cool if it was a DnD fantasy type thing and not zombies. Anyone know of something along those lines?

I played that game like 3 years ago. I had a few characters. I was an early member of Dead vs Blue, then I got bored with the survivor schtick. I killed off one of my alts and joined the RRF (Ridleybank Resistance Front)while my human became a Player Killer and joined Red Rum. I had a lot of fun with Red Rum, they were cool guys. We did some MAJOR killing sprees. The Ides of March and St. Valentine's Day Massacre come to mind. I was on the bounty list as Kill On Sight status and got some laughs when I intentionally killed one of the Red Rum leader's alts.

I had some good times with that. It's too slow for me now, though. It's boring unless you are playing with friends.
