So my playstation 4 died on the weekend I specifically took off of work to play Shadow of Mordor. So yeah, I am bummed and at a loss.

So, what are you doing, escapists?

Well it's Saturday night here in Australia, so half the weekend is already gone. But anyway, right now I'm getting drunk (drinking some Three Oaks apple cider) and listening to some music (death metal from the United Arab Emirates right now actually, very interesting music to come from such a place (band is Nervecell if you're interested)). So yeah, pretty humble weekend for me. I might play some video games on Sunday and just take it easy.

Edit: Forgot to actually mention what game I'd be playing. It's Arcania, a pretty generic action RPG, really. It's not too terrible. I'm mostly playing it because it's originally an attempted sequel to one of my favourite game franchises (Gothic), but it really doesn't hold up well in comparison. But play it I shall!

Just did a driving lesson. Eagerly waiting for Smash, apparently Amazon Logistics delivers in my town around 6. Hopefully got a game of Fantasy Craft tomorrow if my DM's internet works out.

Oh noes!!! What happened? Random act of failure or just a hardware crapout? Magic smoke escape from the power supply? (You do know all electronics run on magic smoke and if it escapes, they quit working...)
Anyway sorry to hear about your expensive loss.

This weekend is just chilling at home with my wife, working on a D&D campaign for my daughter and her friends who want me to DM for them. I feel honored, but they've no idea what they're getting into with me as a DM... *evil laugh* Ok I'm not a mean DM, I'm fair but I do try to make my games more than a walk through the park, you gotta use your head and not just slice, dice or blow up every obstacle in your path in my games.

Seeing my girlfriend for the first time in like two months. Various activities are scheduled, including a meal at my favourite Indian restaurant.

Relaxation and self-indulgence!

I finally handed in my UCAS application, and I want to do a bunch of extra work over the weekend!(Light stuff mostly, and things that I enjoy: watching french movies, and writing reviews on them; reading coursework texts, editing my extended project).

Well I'm finally playing Dragon Age Awakening & once it warms up this afternoon I'll be fixing the brakes on my truck. Other than that I haven't made any plans because they always fall apart anyway.

Homework, almost certainly. And then getting around to actually finishing Pokemon Y version. Probably watching some more ergo proxy, too.

Finishing this damn group assignment due Monday. It's going painfully slow :/

As for games I've been bouncing around lately. Since I finished my Fire Emblem Awakening run I've played bits of Dragon Age:O, Zelda Twilight Princess and Dynasty Warriors 8. Now I'm gonna play some Steins;Gate before bed.

Today is recovery day for me. Got super drunk yesterday after work with my boss and the only other guy we work with. Started drinking at around 2pm until 2am since we went to the Saskatchewan Roughrider game (which sadly they lost) but for it being my first game I've actually gone to it was pretty awesome.

That and hopefully playing some destiny with some friends or (if my copy is in) Shadow of Mordor

First week of October - got halloween decorations. I'm a huge horror junkie and love the sound of people screaming, so I'm going animatronics this year, at least as much as I can afford. The big lifelike machinations cost in the hundreds, which I wish I had, so I'm starting smaller. In a couple weeks, time to start carving.

I'm going to a wedding today, after which I plan on collapsing in great pain and fatigue because of a bad back. That might take up the whole weekend, actually.

Watching Buffy with my girlfriend, slapping together a Mardu aggro deck for Sunday magic and playing around with Windows 10 deployment to some VMs if i get a chance. Probably also playing Endless Legend some more, my Vaulter playthrough stalled so I may restart and be a bit more astute this time.

I'm going through a problem sheet on 'Mathematical Structures for Quantum Mechanics', and being majorly reminded that the last time I did anything with complex numbers, trigonometry or eigenvalues/eigenvectors was 2-3 years ago.

Other than that, nothing big. Tonight I want to finish off the rough version of this problem sheet, start playing The Last Door and possibly get round to actually signing up for societies. Tomorrow, I want to do my food shopping, my weekly walk, and look into gym membership.
