So what do you think about 3d?

I've been playing OoT 3d and i've fallen in love with it. To me, the game has more weight than any other game i've seen. Its hard to describe really. But that depth brings a lot to me and I really miss it when i switch to other games. So far I actually feel like OoT 3d is more realistic to me. Its like how i would rather watch a high school play about the wizard of oz rather than a recording of the broadway version. Even though the visuals are less, it still feels more real

Of course.. this is just my opinion.

3D?

Oh right, that thing that still exists.

Uh... yeah, what else is there to say?

I prefer 3D over motion controls but it didn't really add anything for me. I haven't played anything that is 3D though except for one NES remake (the fighting game I don't remember the title of) and Punchtime Explosion. The Star Fox videos look like the 3D will make the game seem very busy. Ocarina of Time looks like it's going to be good (haven't played in 3D) but I don't think I'll keep the 3D on all the time.

It's a cool little add-on for sure but it's not a game-maker. Not a game-breaker either.

Until they make 3D that you dont need glasses for or to be at a certain spot/angle, then its just kinda annoying.

I only have peripheral vision in my left eye, so it doesn't work for me.

I just don't care about the technology, as it does nothing for me. The only reason I care enough to post is because companies keep saying, "No! You LOVE 3D!" and I wish they would spend their time and resources on something better.

More 3D capable monitors are a good thing, although there are only a few with no input lag at the moment. Having experienced gaming on a 3D monitor first hand I'm looking at getting one myself. Of course I won't be using it for 3D but to run stuff at 120FPS, hey if pushing 3d is what will get me a cheapish 120hz LCD monitor then I am all for it.

My dad can't see 3D so really I've never cared for it. Kind of like how I don't drink sweet tea because my mom has diabetes and I've gotten used to unsweeten.

Can barely stand it. OoT 3d is a good game, but tilting the 3DS to look around in 3d mode messes up the 3d. Also it makes my eyes hurt a little.

I'm still waiting to when things actually have depth from all sides instead of just cheap cardboard cutouts. Even the Spiderman 4D ride make it look convincing enough to make me jerk back when Spidy jumped on the car and pointed at the riders.

Can you do that said pop-up book 3D?
