I've been on top of the fence for a little while now wondering if i care about having it on my system. It scans your computer? I haven't pirated a thing in at least six years (may as well be honest) so is that the only issue i'd have? I don't particularly think they have any business going through my system so i'd like to know what people think of the service so far?

I wouldn't be crazy enough to buy a game on there full price though. extortionate prices... i'd use it as a sort of Steamworks for EA games.

Faster then steam, I personally have no problem with their EULA and they have prices in Swedish kr instead of euro.

Fair enough, a bit sluggish, which I'm guessing will be fixed...like a white steam.

Unremarkable.

It hasn't done anything horrible to me just yet, but nor has it impressed in any way.

All things considered, I would prefer to have been able to stick with Steam.

Exactly like Steam, but without the sales.

People are just making a giant stupid fuss over it. It's not perfect, but it's fine considering it's age.

It's not Steam yet, but it isn't a plague ridden rat tied to a stick like some people would have you believe. I've got about 20 games on it, and no complaints.

Just a program that wants me to make friends, play games, and buy games from them. So like Steam, just not as developed, nor does it have as big of a dedicated following such as Steam. I keep Steam running all the time, Origin only runs when I need it to run. That's the difference between the two.

It's a little less polished than Steam, but somewhat a little less buggy to.

Steam is fairly temperamental if your Internet connection isn't very good. When I can't play Portal 2 whenever I want, there's a problem. Of course, this is before mentioning other games I can only play through Steam, such as Skyrim and Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Not cool, Steam, not cool.
Meanwhile, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is ready to go whenever I please. Biiiig points to Origin on that one.
