To be honest, they're just stereotypical metal/emo kids who've decided to attach tails and wear contacts.

This is really no different than any other fad, i remember in my highschool there was a vampire craze (way before this new vampire craze), then a goth phase, and finally all the goths gave up and started skating. It comes and goes.

Please please please can people stop overusing "emo" now. The word is more overused than the look and that is getting out of hand on its own. It even says in the video it's not emo. They have dark outfits and dark hair. So do I, and I am not emo.

And while this is fairly old news, I agree with the mother. If this is the worst thing they're going to get up to in school then good for them, it's probably better than going out every night getting paralytic, having unprotected sex with as many women as possible, failing lessons due to hangovers and getting into huge fights. Sure, it doesn't coincide with my view of convention in society, but it's a lot better than underage drinking and street fights.

Well from the report it sounds like their not causing any trouble... so who cares? Its a free society, anything, so long as its within the boundaries of the law, should be accepted.
I'm speechless. In an attempt to be different, they do nothing but just alienate everyone else. I wouldn't want to have any part with these kids. Ever. I hope they grow out of it, I really do. They hang out at the mall dressed like this. What? I...just...ugh.
I'm friends with a group of people that all go to anime conventions and we this year we are going as organization XIII (I'm demyx, the guy in my avatar) and every special day for spirit week we would be a video game, anime or cult movie character. Halloween I was Travis Touchdown and for celebrity day I was Light Yagami.
I would love to see one of them going round the school actually dressed like Teen Wolf, how amazing would that be!
