When you wake up you notice the room is not 'Completely' empty
their is a Old laptop with WiFi and an internet connection.
However the battery only has 10min Left.
You Have No Cellphone; and their are no windows, but their is a Reinforced steel door(locked)
What do you do?

Attempt location finding through IP.

Email location to everyone.

Strange question. It's the only course of action.

Ip's are only so accurate though...
Also it depends on your ISP;
mine reports my ip 3 zip cdoes away..

Better 3 zipcodes search area that they know you're being held prisoner in than the entire fucking world that they don't. I'd totally figure google how to find my IP, google how to find my area from my IP, google the authorities in the area, and message them with my IP and how desperately I was in need of rescuing.

Hmm... 10 minutes... if the speed was any good, I could get a few good 20 second clips of an adult nature...

In reality, the first step is to observe your surroundings. What is the room made of? Is the door a standard door, or is it more of a blast door? What noises can you hear from under it? Is there any light coming from the other side? How high is the ceiling? Is there carpet?

Then I'd turn on power-saver mode to squeeze some extra time out of the computer. Afterward, I'd determine the ip address, bundle that with a description of the room, and contact the authorities with skype to relay this information. While using Skype, I'd look to see if the laptop had any useful information on it as well.

You would be surprised how much all that could narrow it down.

Oh, and after all that is done and only a minute or two remains, then I go for the porn. Maybe downloading something would... let them trace me?

Hmm, would it be possible to overload the laptops battery to damage the lock on the door so that I could open it with some force?
Then again I could probably just make some lockpicks out of the components of the laptop and the wi-fi.

:)
