...and suddenly Sheogorath [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=42O0p7v6Jns], Daedric prince of madness, materializes before your very eyes. He bows cordially, does a little jig and greets you warmly:

"GREETINGS, MORTAL ARSEWHISTLE!", he booms, spinning in little circles with his arms whipping around like drunken netch tendrils. "AND WOULDN'T YA KNOW IT, TODAY'S NATIONAL CHEESE APPRECIATION DAY IN THE SHIVERING ISLES! ON THIS DAY AND THIS DAY ONLY, ANY CHEESE YOU WISH FOR CAN BE YOURS AT THE LOW, LOW PRICE OF MAKING YOUR CHOICE IMMEDIATELY - DO IT NOW BEFORE I GRAB THE NEAREST PELICAN AND SHOVE..."-

He stops dead in mid-sentence, staring directly at you. As you watch, his left eye slowly begins to spin, popping off little sparks like a Catherine wheel. With a low "BLUUUUUUUUUHHH..." noise, his mouth opens wide like that of a possessed cow, launching a jet of milk over your shoulder to spatter on the ground behind you. You look for somewhere to run to, but it's a hopeless situation. As the top of his head begins to smoke, it occurs to you that you'd better do what the mad man says.

I tell him I am a cat [http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Ra%27Gruzgob] and when he presses me on the issue I reply simply with "Meow".

American is the only right answer.

Damnit, I wish this was my 1776th post. But I was too late.

None. I'll remind him that I don't like cheese but that it can be just as much of a celebration.

Next time I'm going to one of Sanguine's Realms.

Gruyère, the one true cheese, of course. It's like Swiss, but harder, without holes, and slightly nutty-tasting.
Oh oh oh, that is a fine choice indeed. A true journeyman knows that the best cheeses are vague and unpronounceable - bonus points for monks being involved in its creation. I've heard people gush quite a bit about that one in particular.

Stinking Bishop, just to see if Sheogorath makes a cheese out of Stinking Bishop.
That must be a seriously good cheese. I don't usually go for the pungent ones myself, not even Brie - it spreads fantastically and is delightful with sliced green apples, but sadly it also smells a bit like it was used as the centerpiece of a gangwank. As for Stinking Bishop:

The cheese was brought to international attention by a brief but important role in the Oscar-winning 2005 animated film Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, in which it was used to revive Wallace from the dead. Demand for the cheese subsequently rose by 500%.
That makes me wonder how much A Grand Day Out affected cheese sales in the UK.

A nice medium-rare steak. Preferably with a creamy garlic sauce.

What? Outside of a good Alfredo sauce, I really don't like cheese. Besides, he's mad so it just might be what he's looking for.

And if he's really REALLY insane, I'll ask for a bridge over the chasm of an indecisive dog's thoughts. That should be right up his alley.

My favorite kind of cheese is "setessential 0002AC69 0"
Also known as CHIMcheese; Vivec introduced it to me.

Probably sharp cheddar, and knowing Sheogorath he would then bestow upon me a cheese sword. Which would be awesome.

The finest lucid dream inducing cheese of course. And he'd know what that is! Or would he? Probably. Cheese dreams are awesome.
