The social Hierarchy of geekdom goes
Video Games
Table Top RPGs/ war games (such as D&D and Warhammer)
Larping
The closer to your character you get the less socially acceptable you become. Video games have a controller and a screen between you and your character. In D&D you are physically touching your character as well as talking in their voice. When larping you are your character.
Basically I noticed this and wondered if anyone else had something to add or to disagree with a part of my deconstruction.
