Hai there, I'm going to Canada in a couple of days and I'd just like to know if you have the same two-pin shaver sockets in your barhrooms as we do in the UK. Your answer determines whether or not I rush out and buy an adapter before I go.

If yes, do hotels tend to have them as well?

Thanks

I highly doubt it.

Not even all homes in the UK can be relied on to have the shaver sockets, and standard US/Canadian power sockets are 120V AC, as opposed to our 240V AC. If you can recharge your shaver by plugging it in, use a standard adapter for that, I guess. Otherwise, don't rely on being able to plug in in the bathroom.

Thylasos is right. It's likely going to be all 110v in the bathrooms. If you can get a step-down converter on your side of the pond, do it. They're ridiculously overpriced here in the states. I'm sure it's the same in Canada.
